My router table is very similar to this one... except the top is a thick piece of MDF (I think) with ONLY the router plate mounting... no tracks or fancy stuff.

A friend is letting me use it... so, it's really not "mine"... I'm just using it.

Hi Joe

With all the GREAT deals at Oak-Park why don't you make one of your own ?

I think you said you have the Oak-Park box jigs set, is that right ? and if so did you need to drill your friends table to use them

1. I'm helping a friend store it.
2. I don't have to spend any money on it now.
3. I can spend $ on other things. (done done it)
4. At the time, I wasn't sure what I wanted.
5. If my friend decides to do something else with it, I would get the Oak Park top kit & go from there.

OK?

Have Fun,
Joe

Oak Park stuff I have:
Spacer Fences - all 3
C clamps with rubber balls
brass bars
... seems like there is more... don't remember...
From what I do have, it's apparent that their quality is VERY GOOD.
... does it bother you that I mention them now & then?

What "VIEW" are you talking about? PDF files? I don't post PDF files.

I haven't been one to take a lot of pictures... the ones I have taken, I tend to just leave on the computer & don't feel like getting them together for posting. I don't really care much about tooting my own horn.
I know... I should post more of stuff I've done, etc. but that's me.

I have taken some pics and posted them... not very many...

When I first signed up for this forum, there were so many bugs in the system, it was very frustrating trying to do anything... I just didn't come back until it was brought back to my attention... came back to find a lot different... Much better now than then.

I'm not getting up tight...
BUT... what's with all the interrogation all of a sudden?

Have Fun,
Joe

Hi Joe

"Please be aware that registration on this website requires that you live and/or work in NC, its surrounding areas, or have a special interest in woodworking in North Carolina. "
Sorry, Personal Albums are not enabled.

Do you live in N.C. ?

The VIEW Gallery item is on the Left side of all the Post it will show what you have posted on the forum ( uploaded)

Not a interrogation, I was just asking after I took a look at the View
and I didn't see one project from you and because you are a Forum Moderator that got to me, it's not a big deal but you talk about the Oak-Park stuff all the time and what you can do it with it...and I was just asking what you have done with it.

Did you see some albums of mine on NCWoodworker?
If so, I must live in NC... right?
No, they made a special allowance for some of us, in another picture hosting site that didn't make it, to post our pics here (NCW) and be part of the site.

I see "View" is stuff I uploaded... for posting help more than anything... didn't realize it was considered a "project"... I have not posted any projects here... Only on NCW.

I'm a Moderator that "got to you"? Sorry about that...

Boxjoints... is the only thing I have done using their Spacer Fences...
Let's see... I clamp things like the Fence with those C clamps... like they do on their shows... I measure bit ht., etc. like they also do on the shows.

I guess you don't like my idea of the Spacer Fence of theirs... (???)

I'm going to bed... gnite...

It seems like I mention Oak Park only when someone needs to use their stuff, IMHO... If they didn't need to use it, I would not mention it. Hope you don't mind... Do you?!

BTW, why are you always invisible? No big deal... just wondered...

Good morning...

Have Fun,
Joe

Hi Joe

"BTW, why are you always invisible? No big deal... just wondered..."

I have the same power as you, I can see the ones that are invisible also, I could ask you the same thing but I'm on the forum about 14 hours a day or so that's to say I'm logon on but many not be on line...and I don't like being the 1st one on the list
most of the time in red.

"Did you see some albums of mine on NCWoodworker?" it would not let me view them because I'm not in N.C.

"I'm a Moderator that "got to you"? Sorry about that" = No, it's not the Moderator part that's fine ,it's that I didn't see anything that you have posted ,any wood projects or how-to-do-stuff..help stuff in the picture format that you talk about All the time about.

"I guess you don't like my idea of the Spacer Fence of theirs... (???)" I like the Oak-Park box jigs just fine and they are the best on the market and for the price you can't beat them and I do use them all the time...

"t seems like I mention Oak Park only when someone needs to use their stuff, IMHO... If they didn't need to use it, I would not mention it. Hope you don't mind... Do you?!"
No I don't mind at all I will do the same if the post it calls for it but I do try and call them like I see them it's hard some times because I like Bob and Rick alot and they need all the help I can give them...BUT sometimes it's just not the right thing for the poster...

Have a GOOD ONE Joe..

I got in ,,, That's a nice BOX JOE ,,,
