Just over $2 right now in my part of VA. It is always surprising to see how much additional local taxes skew the prices within 50 miles of me. It can be over 0.40 different!

With all of the crude I was hauling out of Texas and Louisiana last fall, it probably is going to stay lower for a while. We couldn't get the ship back to load fast enough.

I've been using an app from Gasbuddy.com for the last couple of years.

Gas is $2.25 three blocks from house, but we've got $2.00 gas within 8 miles!

$2.22 here in the Chicago suburbs. $2.85 downtown Chicago. We always pay more for gas than most of USA due to EPA forcing us to use a special, lower pollution, gas blend in the Chicago area. 20 miles further away from Chicago the gas is $1.95.

Lube job is extra...
All taxes are included in that price I posted.
In the Metrio Vancouver area (Greater Vancouver Regional District) they pay a $.10 tax on top of what they'd normally pay, to subsidize Public transit...but that was included in that $1.06/L.
Calgary is currently paying around $.86/L ...no sales Tax in Alberta.

Interesting that you post this question, and offer information to get the thread started, yet nowhere I could see does it say where you are.

Also, did you mention "...paid 1.919 this morning... mid grade."? Unless that is a typo, you are the low price winner.

Filled up today at Sams Club in Kenosha, WI for $2.00.9 per US Gallon.

That's interesting. Diesel for me, locally, this morning is £1.119 / litre, or equivalent to US $2.71 / US gallon

(based on 3.7854 litres = 1 US gal and the today's spot exchange rate of $1.5625 to GBP £1.00)

Considering how much tax we pay on diesel I'm surprised that your prices aren't lower

Regards

Phil
