Default Well the arm is almost functional

Arm is getting better just now if it would get warmer here to get some work done in the shop. I have 5 shop pens to get to and 5 pens a new model for me. Atlas pen going to give them a go. Have to get pics up of my base for my band saw so I won't disapoint Harry Just hope nothing froze out there didn't get a chance hook the heater up. Bought some of them hardwood grabs from wood crafter hope to get some nice cutting boards all that is made up now is going for the craftshow coming up in may. Bought the 1/4" and 1/2" spacer fence from oak park just waiting for them. Going to make some trivots that Joe Lyddon gave me a idea for. And maybe some nice boxes with some kind of deccorated lid with some fancy routing around so I hope it gets warm.

Glenmore. Glad to hear you're on the mend. Looking forward to seeing some of the projects you mention.

I've cut it twice and it's still too short! But only at one end.

Glenmore, I hope it gets warm to. This 23 deg and 4"-5" of snow is for the eskimo's. I are not one. This snow storm coming thru might not get to Pa. Might go south of you.
I will pray for your continued good health. If you can get in the shop and make some projects, please try to post pics ao Harry will have a fit. (or what ever they call it Oz.

Wow here I am whinning about the cold you two have it worse. It snowed most of the day today only got a dusting but it was in the 30's still didn't get out to get my glue in so it doesn't freeze. Tomorrow I will get the heater a good knocking out and let run a good 2 hours before I get to working there. Thanks Dave for the prayers it is working. Corey can't wait for them to come in so I can set them up and start doing some routing hope I get them before the pens and pencils you know how lathe just hypmatizes us.

Glenmore glad to see you are mending up. Yep we are now down to 14 deg wind chill and we are due for freezing sleet and ice then snow. Yuck. Oh well as my granddad would say I was here first.

I'm glad you mentioned the bandsaw Glenmore, I was beginning to think that it was just a mirage! Funny about the Oakpark spacer fence, I received my 3/8'' one today which will be in good company with the 1/4" one donated by BobN. I'm really pleased that you're arm is on the mend.

Thanks Harry but I think it is going to be another idle day for me again. Arm is doing better but a little leary because it has only been this way since yesterday so I don't think I'm going to push it.

Good to see your arm getting better... after putting that G0555 together, I'm surprised you didn't set yourself back a week or two... glad you made it!

BTW, that trivet I made... I invented the technique, on my own, back in 1963 on my FIL's table saw... the one I recently restored.

There is also a Router Workshop show that concentrates on Trivets, Trivets, & Trivets... be on the lookout for it on www.TheWoodworkingChannel.com .

Be sure to keep your hands, thumbs, & fingers AWAY FROM THE FEEDING "PATH' while cutting... sometimes, the wood can temporarily stick and then leap Forward after pushing a little harder... If you get in the feed path, your body could very easily get cut... seriously CUT.

Have Fun,
Joe

Thanks Joe going to make a puser out of a piece of 4x4 just for that fact. Going to make it with 1 1/2 indent so the board will seat under it so I don't make it to shallow to prevent slippage of the material that I'm cutting. Thanks again for the trivot idea.
