Love to have that bad boy today
Rick, according to a website, 0-60 on your beloved Mustang was 5.8sec. An African cheetah can do it in 2,9 sec. Kind of makes the Mustang small beer?

There was a guy here doing that with deer carcasses he picked up off the road and took home to feed his dogs. I thought he was doing a service by getting them off the highway where no one wanted to see them but Fish and Wildlife made him stop. Apparently it's against the law to do that here. Go figure.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

What’s amazing is today’s technology. Muscle Car magazine had an interesting review .
They had the data from their tests back in 69 , when they tested a 396 4-speed Camaro .
The 2010 V6 Camaro (the high output v6 ) , beat the 69 in the quarter mile .
And that’s with low compressor and crappy fuel . Plus the 69 only got around 8 miles to the gallon , while the 2010 probably got over triple that .
Amazing what technology has accomplished .

Bit still, a v6 does not have that muscle car sound

Don't know if it's still true but, a quarter horse, at one time, could beat an un modified dragster in the quarter.

But seeing as I am unemployed, I should be able to address some of this .
Still tiling my bathroom though , and it’s very unfortunate as the weather is going to plummet 12 degrees below normal in a few days .
We’ve got that dam blob in the Pacific Ocean building up again , which gives us a wet cold fall and earlier winter weather .
I think there actually taking snow on Friday
Rick, I'm rather curious. Just how big is that bathroom you've been tiling since I don't know when? I may be a sucker but I'm seriously tossing around the idea of taking a vacation and coming out to do your cotton-pickin insulation and give you a hand to get organized. I'm retired, I have no commitments, I've never seen western Canada except on maps and I'll know how to duck when people find out I'm from the Toronto region. If you've not drunk yourself to death by next spring I just might ask if you want a stranger interfering with your "stuff". You'll have to feed me, though. I eat plain food and I drink clean water. I don't smoke. I use extremely little alcohol if at all. I like a good cup of tea, though, and I'll have to pee occasionally.
I hope you're not bullsh**ing about your situation because I think you need a good dose of moral support and there's nothing better than having someone working with you on a job, being compatible and all. So there, it's not a stone hard offer, yet,
but it's in the making. I can't help it, I've grown to like you, such as you are.

Not sure, but I think this is year 11 for the bathroom . No idea how that happened ?
I wouldn’t say beer was a factor , as I only drink 6 times a year max. I do lose interest on it often though ,as I like anything but bathrooms.
Actually the room beside the bathroom has to be completed also ,so this may take a while .
And while the drywall is off in the soars bedroom , I want to reinforce the wall to hold a floating amp rack for the living room stereo . Also run some wiring for the stereo while I’m at it .
Kind of becomes a lot of projects blending into themselves .

But I could actually see next spring being a time where I’ll actually be able to put energy towards the garage .
It’s goimg to be winter here in a few days , so that’s unfortunate. Hard to believe we’ve had awesome falls in the past, but not anymore . Nice one day than instant winter

I don’t always insulate , but when I do .
Ok ,I never insulate

Tom you'll be amazed by some of the scenery we have here. If you make the trip I'll consider meeting you there. It's only about an 8 hour trip for me. I've only ever made it as far as Creston, BC which is still maybe a couple hours from Rick's. Just can't do it between mid April and about the 10th of June. I'll be in northern Alberta during that time.

If I can go to Alaska to see Scott you can make it to BC to see Rick. But........you'll like the country and may want to stay.
