Default Tool question

Okay this has nothing to do with a router but I would like to know what the heck this thing is. I know it goes in a drill - but other than that - I have no idea?? That is a penny by the whatever.

Cool "Wiggler"

Fourleftpaws this is part of a "Wiggler Set." It is used by Toolmakers and Machinist to find centers or edges of metal. We ran them in Bridgeports to find the edge of a piece of metel we were going to mill. You put it in the Bridgeport and spin it. The wiggler has spring pressure on the pin. As the pin spins it wobbles. You move the pin in toward the edge of the metal slowly. The pin will eventually come in contact with the metal and the spin of the cicle will get smaller. You keep cranking the pin in till all the wobble is gone and that should be the edge of the metal to be milled. These normally come in a set of 5 pins for various applications. I bought a set when I first started and the very first time I used them, I had the double ball end on and spun it to fast. I did find the ball end tho. It came off like a bullet. Seems I spun it to fast and it was not silver soldered on.

You beat me to it Dave, however I was only going to say "I think it's called a wiggler"
