Default A Happy Fourth of July

I'd like to wish all our US members a Happy Fourth of July. If you ever want to get back together with the Mother Country, I'm sure they'll consider your application but you'll have to adopt metrication, proper English spelling, driving on the left, etc.

Pete
I've cut it twice and it's still too short! But only at one end.

Thanks guys!

It is going to be a great celebration here tonight, unfortunately the poor dog is going to be hiding in the basement all night as the fireworks are going off....

Make sure your flags are flying today!

Geordie was brave enough to put into print what I wouldn't have dared to do for fear of losing some of the great friends that I've made on this forum!
Enjoy the day and take care with the fire-works.

Yes, I hope you all get to enjoy the day. I know the weather here is a lot better today then it was for our holiday, but just the way it goes I guess.

Doug, I know what you mean about dogs and fireworks. We have a Black Lab and, altho they are supposed to be great hunting dogs, she will almost mess herself when the fireworks go off. We have one of the largest displays of fireworks in North America here (Windsor,ON-Detroit,MI) to celebrate the freedom of our great countries.

That won't have a chance of happening till G. Bush is out of office. I don't think they like him either.

Going across the street tonight to help the neighbor blow the sky up.

Thanks Geordie, but I don't want to have half my brain removed just to be back with Mother Country. Oh sorry, that's half removed when you get to be an Ozzie (like Harry).

You're right, there Doc. Back in the 70's there was a big move by Kiwis across the ditch to Oz. The Kiwi Prime Minister at the time said that resulted in an increase in IQ for both countries
