We're going up near 70 degrees today. Be safe if you live back East, and don't have a heart attack digging out.

it's like a spring day here...
what happened to my winter...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

Stick....

Same here. We`re getting rain today. That`s okay. I don`t have to shovel rain off my driveway.

Not here in Central NC. This picture was taken through the front window of my lawn and the lake. This is as close as I'm getting to it today. The white stuff fell overnight, and since early this morning it's been mostly sleet. The temperature is 33.5 degrees F, so we'll likely still get the freezing rain that they predicted. Probably another 24 hours of this before it goes North.

I really can't complain. This Winter has been very light for us, so far. The one previous snow storm was just flurries and was gone in a couple of hours.

I got to thinking about the media blitz about the coming storm. I hope everyone has some provisions for occasions like this. For us here on the gulf coast, it's hurricanes we worry about. It seems with the El Nino effect, whatever sweeps through here (rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes), will end up on the east coast as snow and ice. I hope everyone is safe and warm.

I guess if you ever considered being a survivalist for when the SHTF, this could possibly be a sneak peak at what might happen with power outages, heavy snow, roads closed, etc.

Possible baby boom is a plus.

Be safe out there.

Just starting to come down here in SW Pa. Anywhere from 3-5 inches to almost 2 feet, all depends on how the thing moves up the coast. Around here, anything more than 6 inches is a BIG deal. Alot of folks go into panic mode.....I"m looking forward to sledding, snow forts and hot cocoa around the fire....
