Exclamation Music- Good, Bad, Ugly

Many of us remember the rise of Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns filmed in Italy. Here is a group that seems to have the music that was used for the soundtrack. It is about 5 minutes long. Listen to the entire video to get the full effect.

I watched "For A Few Dollars More" on TCM the other night and the host mentioned that the budget for the first two Sergio Leon movies was so low they had to cut costs with the music. Ennio Mariconne is such a genius he created the music track using just a guitar, jew's harp, harmonica, and voices. There was no budget for a full orchestra. His score for "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" is considered one of the most influential soundtracks in history and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Gaffboat, that is interesting. It's funny how he went from a supporting actor in Rawhide and became a real stud in the Dirty Harry movies and the spaghetti westerns.

Big, big fan of Clint Eastwood and I have watched all of his films several times over . One of my favorites was an early one called "Play Misty for Me". If you are a fan of his and have never seen this movie I highly recommend it.
