Great video. If you have ever seen these dogs work a herd of sheep in a meadow you can really appreciate their nimble intelligence. Great dogs.

thomas1389 and Stick486 like this.

When my time comes, I want to die like my grandfather did - quietly, and in his sleep - not kicking and screaming like the passengers in his car.

the fisher dog is a cattle dog...
ignores sheep...
the other dog has that covered...

Tom... can I borrow your dog...
me.. sure...

Tom's GF and I are siting on the tailgate watching 3 dogs work the cattle...
it's a thing of beauty I tell ya..
all done w/ whistles and hand signals...

the sheep dog is hanging w/ I and the GF at the truck...
Tom on horseback is working the dogs...
GF... she asks why this one dog isn't helping...
me.. it's a sheep dog...
GF.. so...
me.. it knows the difference...

@Stick486 : Yes, Stick, I have seen both cattle and sheep dogs actually working. They are a thing of beauty and so enjoyable to watch. It is amazing how they flawlessly respond to commands and handle the animals. We had a dog one time that would work hogs. Was a big help but not smooth and precise like the others.
