Default I want the table top.....

You know what's really stunning about this? Neither of these guys became famous for dancing. Hope was, for a time, America's Comedian. And James Cagney was a great actor, one of the biggest movie stars of his era. But watching this clip, it's easy to

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

Back then they all had to be able to sing, dance, do one liner comedy and act.

as opposed to today, when most "artists" can't do any of those things - and they still call it entertainment - ah, the good old days

They just don't make them like they used to! For info on entertainers, go to www.imdb.com and learn how some of the old timers got started.

Ahhhh, memories from back in the day when entertainers were entertainers and men were men and women were women. We have sure made a helluva lot of mistakes along the way.

To do Vaudeville required one to be adept in all facets, one needn't be an entertainment virtuoso but to dance, carry a tune and play an instrument meant you worked more than the poor shmuck that used his back to make a living.
