Default How do I google outside my own country?

This may see like an odd question considering the web is world wide. I have tried to search other countries (outside the USA) to see how other nationalities do woodworking...say France. When I google "woodworking in france" the web sites it returnes are all from the USA. How can I search web sites that are ONLY from a country of my choosing?

Hi Gary , not exactly an answer to your question, but this guy puts up a post most days on his site. He has some great ideas and you don't need to read French.

You simply need to know the country code Google uses.

Google France.

Google Canada

use the domain that takes you where you want to go...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...-level_domains

the long way....
enter this in your address bar and not the search window...
www.fr

www.bosch.fr

Tried, Still returns ONLY results from USA! I am in Michigan, my google searches also will give results of some Canadian sites because of my close proximity to Canada. Try doing a google search for woodworking in a country on another continent and you only get results from wherever you are.

That is one very good site. Our member Sante (Daniel) used to split his time between here and that one and he sometimes shared some of the wisdom from it with us.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
