A simple setup I made to cut octagonal wood on the mill for the wife to use on the lathe.
I needed some doweling to cover screw and lag bolt holes in a project and came up with this....... It is a slide vice, I bolted to the lathe bed and
My wife's favorite tool.... well besides her scroll saw and mini table saw anyways...
I can even cut small octagonal posts up to about 8 to 10 inch wide and up to about 12 feet long with this set up..
