  About Me

  • My Shop
Some detailed information about my workshop.
    Power Tools
Restarting from scratch, so not much yet...
I have a Rigid cordless brushless set and somewhere in moving boxes I should have another drill and circular saw.
    About to buy a router.
About to build a saw guide (DIY festool track), Ron Paulk style bench with router insert, and jigs needed for precise and efficient breakdown of sheet goods with circular saw and track.
Seriously tempted by the holiday special on dewalt's planer.
  • Woodworker Information
    A few details about myself.
    Biography
I'm rebuilding a shop from scratch after a move where I sold almost everything to travel light. I consider this an adventure and opportunity to try a new approach.
I never owned a router previously and I'm about to buy my first, probably a Bosch 1617 combo kit.
My first significant router use will be cutting pieces from a pattern as I build a Ron Paulk style bench.
    Location
One foot firmly planted in North Texas and another in Missoula Montana.
    Interests
    I enjoy family, friends, freedom...
    ...cooking and eating great food...
...and buying ingredients directly from local farmers.
    Favorite Router
About to buy my first, probably Bosch 1617, but still open to community wisdom.
    Woodworking Experience (Years)
Three or four years experience spread over as many decades.
    First Name
    Ashley
    Country
    United States
