    Some detailed information about my workshop.
    Power Tools
    Sears 10" table saw. Dewalt 9" Radial Arm Saw (1964 vintage). Rockwell Beaver 9" band saw, Rockwell Beaver 4" jointer. Delta 13" thickness planer. 10" compound sliding miter saw. Miketa Biscuit Joiner, Delta 17" drill press, a bench sander with 4" X 36" belt and 6" disc, a Dremel kit, 13" Mastercraft Scroll Saw, numerous other small power tools, compressor and air tools, etc. No room for a dust collection system so I use a ferocious shop vac. to help out.
    My Shop
    My shop is a very overcrowded garage, of 12' X 20' dimentions. E-heated/ A/C and insulated, wrap around florescent lighting, and painted white inside for maximum brightness and vision; wired with only 40 amps; have to be concious of power usage at all times. All big power tools on roller stands. All home built cabinets and benches. Small extractor fan to help with fumes. Sometimes fumes are nice!!!
  • Woodworker Information
    A few details about myself.
    Retired Autobody Technicion. Self taught woodworker; interested in making furniture/cabinets, small boxes, cutting boards etc. with inlay. 40 + years of woodworking experience but I'm new to the art of inlay. Always willing to learn something new.
    Langley, Britisn Columbia, Canada
    Camping, fishing, billiards, cribbage, MORE woodworking, and a cold beer.
    Favorite Router
    I use 2 different Sears fixed base routers, a new Sears combo 2 hp router and have a Triton TRA001, 3 1/4 horse plunge router in my VERITAS router table for the last 10 yrs.. This Triton is a dream machine for table use., by far a favorite.
