- My Shop
- Right now I have all of a 2 car garage, but when the catio shelves are up I have a massive shelving project. My goal
is to have everything on shelves, except the lawnmower and shopvac, and the Toyota! Since my wife will not read this
I will confess to dragging out the cat shelving project!
- Woodworker Information
A few details about myself.
- Born and raised in Seattle, moved to Honolulu in 1962 to grow up, didn't work, came back in 5 years! Got ham radio call in 1960, K7MPZ, and more
commercial licenses. Worked in the Boeing Bomarc missile program, concrete tilt-up construction, NASA Apollo program, extreme high-end
framing and millwork for a Street of Dreams contractor, marine electronics installer, and finally, to pay tuition for a degree in computer
networking I was a surgical recovery assistant at Swedish Medical Center. When the market crashed there were no computer jobs so I
stayed at Swedish to get a nice pension. Retired in 2012 and dove into microscopy and photography. Oh, in 1968 I needed bunk beds for
the kids, so I assembled a fully equipped cabinet shop in the garage, which the ex got in the divorce.(sigh)
In June of 2017 I moved into a beautiful new home in Sequim. Bald eagles feed outside, deer come right up to us, and best of all is a big
airtight room in the garage for the microscopes and computers :) All my tools are in file boxes, which have to go onto as yet not built
- Sequim, Wa
- Traveling to Maui twice a year. Running a secure home network. Online video gaming. Operating a 3 scope microbiology lab. (Yes-3)
Filling and maintaining a life long Lightroom photo library. Photographing solar eclipses, well that's not going to happen again.
Finding any reason to buy new blades, or bits, to make anything out of wood to ridiculous tolerances.
