  About Me

  • My Shop
Some detailed information about my workshop.
    My Shop
    Originally in 1982, slab and roof, and slowly a 30x40, w/1/3rd upper storage.(now ac/heat, in office-wood/mach areas)
Added a 24x52 w/compressor/dust vac room and sheet good storage for about 100 sheets, vert, about 15 yrs ago.
Layout evolved over the years worked out well, w/good flow. (Thank you Lord)
1/3 devoted to metal/machine repair and fab, welding machines all types, sm lathe, radial DP, grinders, belt/disk sanders etc.
Wood shop mainly now for fabricating industrial cabinet enclosures used in laboratories. 1 main customer for years, easy to work with, professionals, pays on time :) Still take on occasional small jobs, as the cabinets keep me busy, at 73 yrs old.
Been lurking/watching here for years. Thinking of cutting back on cabinet work (retire) and do some of those fun projects I have wanted to do in my 'golden years', what with a dozen grand kids wanting to make some saw dust.
