    My Shop
Well in 6 years of woodworking I have been very blessed with the addition of many tools and moving from the front yards 8x10 shed to the back yards 10x12 shop to in 2012 moving into the attached shop with heat and air! The shop was originally a carport that was closed in and made a room many many years ago. Available work space is 12x17 with 9 foot ceilings and an attached 6x6 closet that stores many tools and accesories.

I tried to add the HF DC in 2012 but it immediately blew fuses and almost blew my top. With the cost of re-wiring factored in with the DC's basic cost and the added fittings, hoses and accessories I had to hang my head and return what I had and put off adding a big DC. The shop does have a shop made air cleaner and the use of a shop vac at the tool in use.

Fortunately in 2013 I tried HF's 1 hp Dust collector because the shops panel box could handle it. With a shop made separator and Rocklers "Dust Right" hoses and fittings I now have good dust collection!

All of the tools including the work bench and router table are on tables with lockin casters which originally sounded like a great idea. After working with them for 6 months and considering the size of the shop, only the tablesaw needs to be on casters. Everything else can be easily slid along the tiled floor and then that way you don't have to watch the "Locking Casters" slide/roll around the shop. I do have a fix for the casters ---- But haven't found the ambition to make 6 sets of them.................... and still haven't found the want to!!!!

Like I said I have been extremely blessed with many tools an inside shop and a very understanding, supportive loving wife who enjoys buying me tools. God is good!
