Default Hello

Hello. Just registered after lurking for awhile as I was researching CNC tables. Probotix Comet ordered. Can't wait to start cutting!

Welcome to the forum, Brian! Be sure and post photos of that new Comet when it arrives. We like 'em start to finish! Ask away if you have questions - someone here will have an answer, often the correct one.

Hi Brian and welcome.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

More like night owl

On dust control, my plan is to use a cyclone (Oneida) along with a HEPA shop vac. Seems some have done this with good results. I want it to be integrated into the table for the machine, and need it to filter well. Opinions on similar setups you have used?, HEPA vacs vs standard shop vacs? Quieter the better!
