Hi Adrien and welcome.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Welcome Adrien. My brother and some other family live up there. Big difference between the coast and inland-the desert. Both are very pretty in thier own way. Tell us a little about why you chose to join the fun. What kinds of stuff do you like or intend to make? A lot of helpful, quickly shared expertise around here and sometimes we have a little fun.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

Welcome to the forum, Adrien! Add your first name to your profile so it clears the N/a in the side panel. And just to clarify, you're in Washington, DC, correct?

Like Tom said, we like to see what others are building so show us photos of your shop, tools, projects, etc. whenever you're ready.
