Welcome to the forum Graham and I hope you enjoy your stay with us.
There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum. I am one of those that would love to have a CNC router, but haven't got there YET! Maybe one day!
BTW- love your work mate!
Cheers, Tom.

Hi Graham, Welcome to the Forum, and that is indeed some fantastic artistry!

Pleasantries out of the way...

*PHOOEY* on CNC that's cheating ... *giggle* (I do all mine free hand - so I'm just a tad prejudice). But I can appreciate beautiful wood art.

All the guys here will tell you I razz all CNC workers as cheaters, but it's all in fun; no heat in the comments.

Looking forward to your contributions.

Barb

Actually Barb loves CNC, and me too. That's because CNC stands for Coffee N Cookies. I'm with her on CNC machines too, not only cheating, but carriers of cooties.

Lol I'm a cake and coffee kind of guy, I like having my cake and eat it too.

I use to think it was cheating too, Until I discovered how awesome they are . I can have my cake and coffee and work at the same time. I whole sell to gift and art shops, doing it by hand was way too much work for 1 guy. Having a cnc router was like having an extra hand or 2. Plus the detail I get is way above what I get by hand. gives it that extra punch.
I've learnt to live with the cooties while I count my cnc's hard earned cash lol.

Cake N Coffee feed your soul. CNC machines do not. Sigh, another one went to the dark side, willingly.

Hi, Graham; welcome! As Charles mentioned earlier, I'm on the Sunshine Coast, and 'Mimac' (Brian) is over in Langford, outside of Victoria.
I sometimes pop out to KMS in Coquitlam, if I have to come to Vancouver for some reason.

You do some fine work, Sir!

Oh the island, my wife and I dream to live there. All that beautiful old growth or what's left of it. Maybe if we win the lotto or I get a whole bunch of cnc machines lol.

KMS is a favorite toy shop of mine, I go to the one in abby. Think I get most of my toy's from there that and of coarse our go to store CanadianTire. If you haven't tried any of their magnum tools give them a shot, their higher end house brand of tool. Great warranties as well. I actually use their router On my machine and have had no problems.
Thank you for the welcome.
