Hey everyone. Made the mistake of building my wife a simple blanket ladder, and now i've got the addiction. Look forward to using this forum for fun and learning.

As in, we've put some helpful information together at this here link to help you get up and running in the world of routers... We hope it to be useful to you... Enjoy...
Do take some time and read the safety PDF's... PLEASE!!!
Blood and trips to the ER, we find, are very annoying... Not to mention – expensive...
Welcome. Glad you decided to join the fun. My wife was a quilter when I started serious woodworking so I know your situation. She's a painter now, so I wind up making picture frames. That's how it goes.
Welcome aboard Bryan. What is my addiction is making something that serves a purpose and yet also has a artistic part. Not necessarily museum art but something that you particularly like.
There are clearly right and wrong ways to do something but a good deal of leeway in between most times. Just don't skimp on the tools manuals or gloss over the warnings. Most power tools can do a fantastic job if used safely and properly. Stick's first posts to new members has a good deal of info on this. I also don't expect but strive for perfection but will gladly accept improvement from one project to the next, I can look at most projects differently than others as I look directly at the mistake (custom feature) first where most people don't even see it.
Anyway enjoy the journey and never be afraid to ask questions. And do post pictures of your projects.
