Default Newbie from Central California

I'm basically an armchair woodworker. Most of my so called knowledge is from books and publications. I owned a 5 in 1 tool years ago and have beginner woodworking experience. I am nearing retirement and would like to get back into working with wood to pass the time and keep my mind and body functional.
I'm particularly interested in routers and I hope to learn from the members of the site.
I ride motorcycles and like to fish and camp when I'm not working around the house.

Welcome to the RouterForums Alan. You sound like someone else I know except I don't fish or camp and don't work around the house.

the "Doctor"

In woodworking there is no scrap, only firewood.
