Default new to routerforums

Hello everyone,

This is the first forum I've ever signed up for. Reason being; i currently have the 26620 craftsman professional router. The thing quit on me the other day and i spent hours trying to figure out why. I thought it was the speed control so i ordered a new one. Plugged it in and nothing. I checked continuity and it turns out the switch was full of saw dust and not closing the contact. i should've done that right off the bat. Anyway, during my search online i came across this forum and found alot of helpful tips.

Some stuff about me; I'm 26 and been playin with tools since i could walk. Most of the stuff i have built is nothing requiring too much attention to detail. however, I would like to start in on some more elaborate projects...such as furniture. hopefully you all can help.

First project coming up is a bed frame. The currently plan is to use 5/4 white oak. so stay tuned for questions on that.

Thanks,
Andrew
