Default Thanks for being here!

Hi all. My name is Dave and although interested for years (way too many) I'm definitely a newbee at this woodworking thing. It's really been one of those passions that was kept in check. I'm twice retired (U.S. Army and a Telecommunicatons Company) but will probably have to go back to work (probably part time) to help with supplementing income that will out-go for tools, etc. I came here by way of a google search for a lock nut for a Sears 17381 router, and after looking the site over decided to join the community. I'm looking forward to finding a lot of answers here as well as offering any assistance I possibly can... Once again, thanks for being here...

I'm just to blessed to be stressed!!!

Greetings Dave and welcome to the router forums. We're glad we’re here also, and that you have joined us. We have several members from Colorado. I wouldn't mind being from Colorado myself, wouldn't have to go so far to enjoy my other interest, going to the high country in my jeep. It is hard to believe but it has been 5 years since I was out there last. My favorite place is in the San Juans; Silverton, Ouray and Telluride. I lived there from 1967-1976.

Yup, welcome Dave ! I'm with Jerry....love the silverton/ouray area, and so does my wife. Actually, I've hunted the ridgeway area for 14 years, chasin' the buglin' devils around them fine mountains out there. Great area, great people. I sure envy you living there.

Again, welcome !

WElcome Dave!
I have to agree with the guys, God's country out there, I had a home in Colorado Springs, (not a nice area) spent my free time in the Estes Park area.

Cut it twice, and it's still too short!
