I'm quite new at woodworking although I was around my dad who did it all the time.
I'd like to pick up some tips and tricks from some of the experienced players so I don't work for nothing or hurt myself.
I dream of starting to build guitars and touchstyle instruments. (Touchstyle is an instrument you tap with both hands and it has anywhere from 6 to 14 strings. It looks like a guitar but you play it with both hands on it.)
I did a year of machinists training so I do have some experience cutting different materials.
Lots of experience here. I'm a Machinist/woodworker also, to be honest it is not the best combo, we tend to be too exact. Can't tell you the number of times I fiddle with something because its a 32th off.
Bob, don't you ever sleep? it's 4am!! Thought I was the only one getting up this early, pain gets me up, what's your excuse?
