Default Another Newbie on board

Hello all! My name is Jerry, and I live in Southern Calif. I am retired, having worked in electronics 14 years, manufacturing for 6 years plus, and computer retail sales 10 years. I finished my work career as a teacher and substitute teacher.

I soon will be clearing out a lot of junk in half of my garage and will start equipping it as a small wood shop. Most of my machines will have to be portable as I expect to park my car in the garage whenever it is not fulfilling the woodworking role.

Welcome to the forum Jerry, I too had a career in electronics, for 50 years and 6 months and I sure was happy to retire in 2000 and no longer have to keep up with technology. Woodworking is so much more relaxing, please let us follow your progress.
