Default A new one

Hello, Everybody my name is Silvestre and Im from Pachuca hgo, México, and in fact I arrived to thid forum because I Looking information for buying a new router, actually I have Craftman if 1 3/4 hp, but its only for 1/4 bits, so now Im want to build more complex project so I need a new one for 1/2 bits, here I dont have really a big variety of routers to chose and I trying to take a decition between Dewalt 3 1/4, Bosch 1619 EVs 3 1/4 or a Porter Cable 890 of 2 1/4 the most information said that 3 1/4 is a really big router, but I think that the 1619 EVs can be my best choice not for performance or quality the true is that bosh is a more comercial brand in Mexico so if I have service problems it coukd be easier to solve if I choice Bosch

Regards

Silvestre Welcome to the forum; hope you have success with your new purchase, my personal choice is the 1/2" Makita, there are many here who can assist you getting what you want to do with a router. Just as a reminder; there is more that can be achieved when the router is held in the plunge mode, with the aid of template guides. Check out the material below.
