Hello All

I live on the coast of British Columbia and have been experimenting with varoius types of wood working for about 25 yrs. Everything from cabinet making to home renovations to carving animals etc. One of my favorite woods to work with is our local arbutus. (Madrona for you US folks)
I primarily do turnings on a Nova DVR-XP wood lathe. Recently I purchased a used Craftsman Router Crafter at a second hand store for $40.00. I contacted Trend tools in England and they graciously sent me a complete manual for it. I am presently making hiking poles and using the Crafter to do fluting. I have 4 routers at present, one plunge, two fixed and one Dremel router.

Bob Welcome to the forum; looking forward to seeing some of your work, there are many here who can assist you getting what you want to do with a router. Just as a reminder; there is more that can be achieved when the router is held in the plunge mode, with the aid of template guides. Check out the material below.
