Default Hello

I do not use the router everyday.
My job is to make small crosses.
I get lumber in short lengths 24in or less.
I need the stock to be
len 12"- 24"
Width 4" - 6"
thickness - .3 "
Weird huh
much of my work is getting the stock to size.
I get my lumber from a company that demolishes old buildings and makes
flooring from the lumber . Mostly cutoffs and knots and other bad pieces
Here is where my router table comes in .
I take 6 " to 11" pieces of lumber and cut finger joints on the ends
and glue them end to end to get a piece of lumber > 12 in (for my planer to take it)
fun huh?
I wish I knew how to keep dust down in my shop (I have a sawdust collector)
Thanks for allowing me in.
