Smile Newbie

Hi all. I'm a newcomer to both online forums and routing! My background is in property maintenance and I own a small business doing just that here in Pembrokeshire, West Wales UK. The reason I have joined is I am really interesting in using my new machine and getting the best from it. I have used table saws, compound mitre saws and all woodworking tools from an early age but only now do I have the time to get into the finer areas of decorative and practical woodworking. Managed to get hold of a 1/2" 1500w plunge router from Wickes (reviews were decent and only cost £85!). We all have to start somewhere and, from trying a few runs, it seems to be a sturdy and well equipped machine for the price. Anyway, long story short, I have access to a huge amount of soft and hard woods and really wanted to get cracking on some small projects, just to get the feel for my new toy. If anyone has any ideas on where I can look on the net for some written or video instructions on jointing, moulding and forming for someone with capable hands but is new to the routing game then I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks
