Default Hi to all members.

My name is Steve, I have been butchering wood on and of for many years with personal projects. I have recently started using routers to improve my speed and accuracy... thought I would start with making some jigs any tips and tricks for the basic ones would really be appreciated.

Hi Steve - Welcome to the forum
I guess you could make a jig or template for just about any type of project you plan to do. About the only requirement would be that you need to do it more than once and that isn't even a fixed thing.
There are examples of all kinds of different jigs and fixtures from cam boards, dado jigs, fluting jigs, etc, etc, etc... Just give us an idea of what you want to do and somebody will have a jig for it.
Once again, welcome aboard

John Schaben

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.
