Default Outside Projects

What is the best plywood to use for outdoor projects that will recieve rain and snow?

I would think that marine grade ply would be the best. You can also use box store ply if you cover it with poly or epoxy. Either way you will need to fill the edges to keep moisture from getting in. Especially in winter where it could freeze and cause the core to seperate. Another idea is possably put a wood edge band on the project to help seal the edges then coat the project with a thin layer of epoxy or paint it with poly.
