Default 3600B brand new!!

Hello I'm Jim and have just joined. I have this morning baught a makita 3600B at a car boot sale, It is still in the original box, the spanners to tighten the chuck are still in there plastic bags, and the chap I baught it from assured me he baught it years ago with a project in mind, but had never used it.
I paid 35 for it. I think that was a bargain...: :

Hi Jim

Welcome to the forum. If it was 35 quid you are obviously from the UK and it was a steal (Possibly literally at some of those car boot sales !). It is probably about 25yrs old but if it has never been used you can't go far wrong. Several senior members here swear by Makita.

Cheers

Peter

Hi Jim:

In our neck of the woods, when you refer to "car boot sale" it usually ends up that the merchandise is hotter (stolen) than the guy doing the selling. The "fresher" the merchandise the "hotter" it is.
