Est-ce que c'est Michel or is it Mikkle? I have to note that there have been 8 movies shot in Paris and indeed the river front is beautiful. The Grand River is a small river as rivers go but it has a certain charm. Paris is a pretty town to visit but the landscape is too flat for my liking. It is interesting to note that the first long distance telephone call was received in Paris. The call originated in nearby Brantford. However, I don't think the title of "the cobblestone capital of Canada" applies any more. There are only a few of the cobblestone houses actually left. It is interesting to note that the town got its name from the gypsum deposits nearby used to make plaster.

If you are bilingual great, I could use some help translating. I'm not very good at it and at some point I'm afraid I might insult someone. My Seneca is definitely not very good.

Welcome and pardon the plug for Paris! (Ontario)
