Default Hi A newbie here

I just joined the router forum. I'm living in Alabama. Newly retired, I have have been an off and on woodworker for about 8 years; cornices, various types of boxes, shop furniture and jigs, book shelves, and simple furniture. I am wishing to expand my skill set and starting to focus on cabinet making. My current project is to build a set of cabinets plus a pantry type at the back of my garage. Hopefully, this will help me organize the gazillion woodworking thingies I've collected over the last few years. I plan to use this project to experiment with different woods and construction techniques and cabinet styles. So far progress is slow as it seems each event is a learning experience. But, I enjoy it.

I'll probably make a lot of use of this forum. Pick a lot of your brains and hopefully learn from your experience.

Nice to be here
