Default Hello World

Just new to this forum after having read all the useful info contained in the various posts for some time - will keep reading first before asking any questions - I have afarm and a lot of self milled timber I am using to fit out an old farmhouse, building various cupborads and making (trying) archs and skrts etc for the task from my own wood . Have a reasonbale good but somewhat caotic setup in my shed, large table saw, thicknsser, blower, dropsaw, router, 6 inch jointer and lots of benchspace, workbench etc but getting away from the heavy duty stuff of preparing my timbers and into the finer work for which there is a bit of learning and experimenting to do - So will be happy to follow all the good stuff on the forum.
Thanks - Shipman
PS - Posting looks a little complicated - why is this a new thread ? was prompted to introduce myself..)

Hey Shipman.

First of all, welcome to the community, glad you decided to join us!

Basically you're posting inside a forum category now which is a collection of Introduction posts. When you introduce yourself you create a new thread because every introduction needs to have it's own discussion topic. We set it up like this so that members could reply to your introduction thread and welcome you to the forum and possibly answer any introductory questions you may have.

If you have any questions for me, feel free to either post them here or contact me via our contact form: Router Forums - Contact Us (you won't be able to PM me until you reach 10 posts).

Thanks, glad you decided to join us and hopefully we'll see you around the community!

Mark,
Founder of RouterForums.com
