Intro and question Hello, I am new to RouterForums.com but have been working with wood for well over (10) years now. I look forward to contributing what knowledge I can as well as receiving feedback from the community.
I did have a question to open things up to see if anyone has had any experience using the concealed style bed rail bolt similar to this one I found at Rockler? If so, what did you think of them?

Hi Justin
I have used the two ring type (two pocket hole type) and they work great..
I will say you can make your own by using some pipe ( hvy.wall electric conduit ) and some threaded rod and rod nuts..the ones you can but are a bit short

Yeah, I have seen those. Then I came across this one from Rockler for $12 and thought I might give it a try? I am just tired of through drilling my legs/ posts and having to cover the hole! This application is a little unique as well as I am making a pair of identical twin beds that I am going to invert one on the other to make a cohesive bunk bed.

Hi Justin
You can use the auto type freeze plugs to cover the big holes if you want to.. they just pop (tap) right in the hole
