My name is Gary and I have dabbled in router usage for several years. Recently, a dear friend who was an accomplished woodworker passed away and left me his router table, router and accessories. The router is a Craftsman 315.174321 and I have been struggling to figure our how to work the depth of cut mechanism. Before I swap out the Craftsman for my Skil plunge router, I was hoping to find a manual so I could figure out what I am doing wrong. However, I have not been able to find a manual at the usual spots on the internet. Apparently the thing was made by Ryobi but that is all I have been able to find out. Anyone have experience with this particular item? Thanks.

Greetings Gary and welcome to the router forum. Thank you for joining us, and remember to have fun, build well and above all be safe. This sounds like one for BJ because he knows everything that has to do with routers, no joke, everything!!
