Default Elu ST152E Type 3 jigsaw

Hi there Bubs, I just bought a jigsaw today for 3. It's a Elu ST152E Type 3. Can anyone tell me what the four position switch does? It doesn't seem to do anything no matter what position it's in.
Regards,
Pleb.

I believe it will change the aggressivness of the cut. I have a Makita that has the switch on the side next to the blade, and it changes the blade from straight up-and down pattern to a more aggressive swing out and up pattern.
I hope this helps
