Default Greetings from Montana

Hi, my name is Gordon, 59 and some years old. New to this forum, and very glad I found it. Love woodworking and although an amateur, I have always been a great fan of routers. Built my own table 25 yrs ago, and it has served me well. Started with a Skil Router, then mounted it in the table, I now have a Makita D-handle modified router in the table. I also have a 3hp, and 1.5hp Makita plunge router, along w' a Dewalt plunge. I have too many hobbies so I don't spend as much time in the shop as I would like. I work as an estimator in a building center, so its kinda perfect in that I'm kinda like a kid in a candy store. I have a pretty nice shop and I'll post pics once i get my required number of posts in.

Howdy, Gordon. My first router table was a large re-purposed kitchen carving block with a 2x4 and two C-clamps for a fence.

Welcome Gordon, glad you are here.
No workshop is complete without a wood lathe, put it on your wish list!

Well, I've "upgraded" a couple of times. You know how woodworkers are.

Greetings Gordon and welcome to the router forum. Thank you for joining us, and remember to have fun, build well and above all be safe. What part of Montana, got up there when I lived in Wyoming, great states both.
