I am a 60 year old novice woodworker with some basic equipment. The primary purpose of my woodworking is making my own beekeeping equipment. I make my own basic hive boxes, tops, bottoms, and some specialty equipment used in beekeeping. I use a Craftsman table saw switching back and forth from my saw blade to a dado blade. I have a small Craftsman router with a basic set of bits from Sears. I purchased a used Sears router table and mounted it on a wooden table for ease of use. I think I would benefit from a router that is more powerful. Nothing too expensive or powerful but something for all around basic router work. What that is, I do not know. So I have joined this forum to gather information and learn more about routing. My other projects would include very basic projects for the home and garden.

Looking forward to learning from the combined experience on this forum.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Rick
