Default I am new to this site

Hello I am Ray I live in the mountains of northern California. We have live here since I retired 12 years ago. I was a sheet metal worker and still do a little, but my real love is wood work which I have done for years from toys to furniture.

I found this site as I was researching for a new router. I am looking for a 1hp plunge router (small like a trim router) with about a 3 base. I know that MLIC has a small one that has am plunge base attachment, but from what I have read I do not think the plunge attachment work as well as I would want. I want one that is just a plunge router only. I think Trend makes one but I have not been able to find. And I would like to know if there are others made.

Is there any one that has any information and/ or recommendation that would help me.
Thank you for your help,
Ray

Greetings Ray and welcome to the router forum. Thank you for joining us, and remember to have fun, build well and above all be safe.

I bought the MLCS before coming here and its OK but I would buy the Trend knowing what I know now.
