Default Introduction

Hello to all of you tree lovers, wood workers, craftsmen, and artists.
I am new to not only this forum, but also to the art of wood working. I haven't created, or made, anything as of yet, but will in the future. Neal and I went up to see Mike and I plan on trying my hand at making pens first.

Hello all. I am a neophyte to this forum but not to woodworking. I own two routers, one an old Stanley, and a Craftsman Professional grade. Let's just say they both work for the most part.

Welcome Dwayne. While these old routers will get the job done advances in design make it worth while to purchase a new one. LED lighting so it is easier to see the work area is just one example. Soft start and electronic speed control makes for more control and consistant cuts.

Default Newer routers

When I have the funds for one of the new high tech routers, I'll get one, in the meantime I'll muddle along with my old ones.
