Smile Bobby

I am retired and took up woodworking. I enjoy doing intarsia projects as well and router projects. I have made a lot of postal banks using the router to make dovetails joints for the box sides and top and bottom. These banks were gifts for retiring postal employees. I have a small shop in my basement with a number of various woodworking machines and sanding equipment. I also have made any number of pens from all types of material. I have not used metal or rock to make a pen yet, but I have used clay.
I am now in the process of teaching myself, how to make Western Red Cedar signs.
This should present a challenge as to leaning to control the router and getting the correct speed down pat.
I also enjoy reading the Router Forum, as there are some really great ideas that are shared.

Hello Bobby! Welcome to the forum. Glad to have You here. It sounds as tho You enjoy all parts of the hobby, including somethings that I don't always think of, and that is getting the speed perfect! I'll guess that You could teach some of Us how to do it correctly, so If I have a question, I'll know where to get it right

Hello Warren! I don't think I could stand that heat, let alone work in it! I live 3 miles from Lake Michigan, and it is about 80 degrees. There is a nice breeze! and I have to stay comfortable ! Not to hard. It can become unbearable when it is humid around here. But most people can be outside in the summer heat.
