Default introduction

Its great to join the forum, seek ideas of others and hopefully become involved in the community. I am nearly 70 and retired in last 4 weeks, but am currently on Long Service Leave before I formally resign. I work for the company for 43 years, started with them as a Fitter & Turner and worked up to Workshop Manager.
My Interests are Family, Fishing and the shed.

The equipment in the SHED: inverter welder, electrical handtools, triton saw & saw bench, router & table, Makita saw bench etc, etc.
In recent months I have made a couple of cupboards under the Carport with couple of saw horses, circular saw and drill and clamps, all the cutting was supported with a simple jig I made up. so much for all the gear in the shed.

I am looking forward to spending more time in the shed, I have been looking at mortise and tenon jigs and have some ideas of my own.

again thank you

Dennis

Hi Dennis
Sounds great to me that your going to be spending more time in the shed working on your woodworking projects, wish you all the best in your retirement.
Been spending a fair amount of time in the garage myself lately working on my minibus into campervan conversion.
Kind regards
Steve
