Default G'day from downunder.

Howdy.

I'm Brett, a newbie woodworker from New Zealand.
Just starting out in this hobby so have yet to make my huge mistakes. ;-)

I DO like to make things and it also helps that I'm a tool junkie!

The only really huge mistakes are the ones that injure us. Always work safe. If the way you are planning on doing something feels unsafe then rethink it or ask for advice. General rule of thumb: If it seems like a bad idea, it usually is.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Hi Brett,
Good to see a Kiwi on here to.
Your sort of down under and across a bit.
One of my younger brothers is sailing around The Bay of Islands and reckons he might head across the ditch for some sunshine..
Cheers.
