You are in the right place Norm. This is a great group that includes people of all skill levels. 99% of the people are quite polite and helpful. I am in the 1% that is often too candid to please everyone. I come to this forum to ask questions and to help others. The only places I've seen problems were when people had gotten off the subject of routers. You will very likely find this forum extremely helpful and enjoyable to delve into.
One other thing: If you want to get a feel for someone's "attitude in general", you can look at their past posts. I frequently do this and it helps me to get an idea of the goals another subscriber may have. I've encountered many types, yes there are a few that would argue with a fence post, but most are extremely helpful and polite! OPG3
