Hi all,

Living in Alameda, CA, and am a remodel contractor/handyman who loves working with wood. Have a pretty messy workshop full of most tools and always looking for good tips and tricks using routers and table saws! Hope to participate here and learn from you all!

Welcome Paul!
I'll challenge you for messy workshop pics.

I have a Shop Vac Bucket top vacuum that I inset into a 30 gallon garbage can. It cleans up everything I need, but only after I make a mess.

I also have 5 very spoiled shop/house cats that let me know if it gets too noisy or if I ruin their favorite spot in the sawdust and chip to take a nap. (I don't woryy about them using the sawdust as a potty box... they are too finicky for that and will only use the store bought litter box.
You would be really surprised at how far a furry kitty can carry a bunch of saw dust!

My tools don't often get put away either..... If I need to work on the planer, the tools are laying on the work bench, close by, but may be under a bunch of off cuts and cauls somewhere from the last time I used them.
The wife has tried to clean the shop up, but always ends up putting the tools in 10 or 12 different places that seem to have no rhyme or reason. It takes me a month to find everything again.

I don't yell at her because she loves me, and more importantly, she puts up with me!
