Default An old newbie

Hello all
At 82 I have left it a bit late to start cnc but I have built 2 desk top models mainly because I thought I could but having started I cant stop and at the moment I am developing the 4th axis which I am finding more difficult can any one tell me how to program the 4th axis to run continually at the moment I can only tell it to run so many revolutions or part of. I am also making it into a small lathe for threading etc.

Thanks
