Old Man learing new skills

Hello all,

My name is Dennis and I am happy to find this forum.

I am a retired 40yr Illinois carpenter, I mostly ran work as a Forman and for the last 20 years I was a Superintendent and worked in 11 states building Motels, Hotels and restaurants.

So being away from home my woodshop which consist of the two car garage which had to be cleaned up before I left to the weeks work.

So now I am home (still in the same garage). I want to make the best of it and do better quality projects.

I have read your posts on the router table and have place a aluminum base plate and made a hanging router table on my Delta 10" table saw. I also made a dust collector out of 2 PVC going to two shop vacs with connecting hoses. Its works slick!!!

So my first project after reading up on all your tips was to build a Panty cabinet and a small cabinet over a stackable washer dryer. Cabinets were no problem and I have made panel doors on the table saw before.

I have never made the professional cabinet doors until now, and with your help I was able to complete this project and look forwarding to more projects.

Attached is my first phase of the laundry room.

Thanks for being here,
Dennis
